I arrived at 7:45am for an 8:00 appointment for an oil change. Three cars in front of me in the appointment line. About 6 cars in the non-appointment line. At 8:20am, an employee gets in my truck and moves it to the side to allow a vehicle that arrived AFTER me to go in front of me. Not sure if they had an earlier appointment or not, but if they did and were that late, employees should've just left their vehicle after mine. Meanwhile, two vehicles that arrived after me for the non-appointment line had already been serviced and left. As well as others in the non-appointment line. At 8:38am, my truck gets pulled into the back lot out of sight. At 9:35am, my truck is pulled out of the main service garage and parked behind the fence. I walked in to ask about my truck and at 9:42am, I received the keys to my truck. So, apparently making an appointment for an oil change is the slowest way to get my oil changed. I've had issues here twice before with my oil filter leaking oil in my driveway after a service. Having to go back to have it serviced again/fixed. Both times I was told that they had a bad batch of filters. Come on. I'm not stupid. If Chevy had a bad batch of filters, I would think that they would've returned the filters and gotten better ones. There was a couple there with two vehicles in the appointment line in front of me. They were still there after I finally left. Again, not sure what service they were getting performed but it is the Quick Lube Service Center so it's not like they were there for an engine rebuild. If someone makes an appointment, it should be honored and done somewhat efficiently. I don't expect an IndyCar speed pit stop. But an hour and 42 minutes for an oil change is pretty long. I probably could've taken all four of my cars to Jiffy Lube and been in and out faster with the same level of service. And yes, I kept track of the times because I knew there would be an issue after seeing my truck moved out of line for no reason. I don't expect, nor want, a free oil change offered. I want American Chevy to provide better service. Like they used to do. If someone has an appointment, they should be taken care of in a timely fashion. Go to the doctor's office with an appointment, you get called before a walk-in (unless of course it's an emergency). Thank you and I hope that the service improves. No excuses anymore. Fix it.

I was warmly greeted by BB when I first arrived. He answered my questions and listened. He was very helpful in making a decision on which Equinox to buy. No heavy pressure or high pressure to purchase. I was not looking forward to purchasing a car--it had been 20 years since I stepped into a dealership. BB made it a good experience. He has a great sense of humor and we got along well.

I accidentally put DEF fluid in my Chevy Silverado and Nader and the team did exactly what they said they would. As soon as I picked it up, I attached the trailer and a rebuilt PIANO for a client and drove to Montana and delivered it. The truck was flawless. I really appreciate the job that was done without incident. I will try not to put DEF fluid in the tank again laugh out loud. Actually my wife said she won’t let me.😜💯

I was in a pinch and needed a new vehicle immediately. However, I was unable to get to the dealership due to being stuck at work with no car now that my car was dead. I call American Chevrolet cause I had heard great things about them and was immediately connected with Hector. Hector listened to everything I needed and found the perfect fit for me. He worked with my budget and helped me get things finalized without even stepping foot in the dealership. They emailed me the documents I was able to sign them electronically and the icing on the cake was Héctor delivering the vehicle to me in Turlock. We had a great experience buying a car. Our sales, Martin made it easier to make a decision on what car was a better fit. He was patient since I was indecisive and provided options and information that help me with my choice. I also had an option to choose different coverage to maintain my car. This is our 4th Chevy purchase and we will continue to come back because not on the cars but also the personnel.

Service was good. But took way too long for the service. I put some notes on my appointment.I ask for military discount, tire rotation and to use my banked points and were not read by the staff. Even with an appointment and waiting took 2 hours for a simple bit change.

The quick loop guys did a great job on my truck done early called me when it was done, told me when I can pick it up. The only problem I have with American Chevrolet. Now is the cost to do an oil change and nothing else is a 100. And $75. With the previous owners, they did tire. Rotation, and it was a full service for a $130. So I won't be going back there.

It took almost a month to replace the motor in my 2021 Silverado I was told that the mechanic working on it was being pulled off to do other jobs. Also, I don’t know why they just didn’t stay on it get it done not to mention the 3.0 Duramax blew up at 118,000 miles this truck was serviced every time on time not to mention the transmission went out at 114,000 miles. That was another $7000 in general motors picked up 9000 of the $15,500 motor replacement not happy.

I had one of the best dealership experiences ever thanks to Gene in the sales department at American Chevrolet. I called just before closing on a Friday night to ask if a specific vehicle was still in stock. Gene not only confirmed it was, but he also took the time to listen to my situation. Since I live two hours away, I explained that I wanted an out-the-door price before making the drive. While most salespeople would push for an in-person visit, Gene was courteous, professional, and understanding. He went through the right pre-screening questions, and after confirming my interest, he honored my request and provided a fair price that I was very happy with. The next day, Gene promised to have the car detailed and ready for a quick process, knowing we were coming from far away. True to his word, when we arrived the car was parked right out front, cleaned, and ready to go. Gene had everything prepared, making the entire process smooth and stress-free. From start to finish, Gene delivered excellent customer service. I feel very fortunate that he picked up my call that Friday evening. Thanks to Gene and the American Chevrolet team for making this the easiest and most enjoyable car purchase I’ve ever had!

I initially set up an appointment for an Oil Change on my 2018 Chevy Silverado. During my vehicle service, I waited in the lounge. The attending Technician was absolutely courteous. My experience was very good. I couldn't find out what went wrong with my Silverado. So I took it to American Chevrolet they had it one day ready to go again. In and out didn't take me to the bank.

For car buying, it was a quick experience and our salesman DJ was focused on what we wanted instead of just getting another sale. He answered a lot of our questions, gave us time to check out the car and test drive it. He even gave us time to discuss privately about our options before coming back to see what we chose. I was given two appointments for my needs all went well very efficient

A year ago my oil change was $125, this year it was $175. Last year the labor charge was $48 , this year it was $98. The oil and filter costs were the same price. Unless you gave your techs a 100% raise, you are guilty of price gouging and I will not be returning to you dealership.

After having a recall done last month and the 3 weeks later my info system went down which is the radio , gps and all settings functions. So first i waited 2 hours and couldn’t fix it , second time left my truck there all day to get the the news it’s no longer working. Third trip was the installing of a refurbished information system. Never heard of after 5 years the radio going out . After watching YouTube videos I see it’s a common problem. So three days ago I spent money that was for Christmas bad timing and no breaks from dealership shoot didn’t set my clock , take seat protection off. Merry Christmas to Chevrolet

Just a routine oil change. My appointment started on time and actually finished earlier than scheduled which is rare. The oil changes are nice because they are thorough but in the past some have taken hours. This was on time and quick, and I will definitely be coming back.

Our experience was great. Our sales Norberto Perez made the process easy and painless. We walked through quite a bit of your inventory and even test drove a different vehicle. The vehicle that caught our eye wasn’t even in the system. It had just been delivered. With many trips out to the lot to get VIN numbers, etc Norberto somehow made it all happen. When we left, we drove away in everything we wanted.

This is the second time I worked with Gene on the purchase of the Silverado truck and once again, he delivered. Exceptional service and he helped me get the exact truck I was looking for. Gene is easy to work with and explains everything in detail and assists with explaining all the features of the truck and answers all questions. I am waiting for a refund of the 2018 Silverado truck I traded in. I was told that was being worked on and refunded once the loan funded.

I took in my truck because the brakes are squealing. I was told the tech couldn’t detect it even though they test drove it twice. When I picked up my truck I pulled out of the lot and could hear them squealing at the first stop light I stopped at. What’s even more frustrating is that when the truck was handed over to me the radio was on and the station had been changed. The fact that the station was changed was not a big deal but if the tech was supposed to be listening to my brakes then why was the radio on? Maybe turn the radio off and listen for the problem. That was a huge waste of my time and I’ll take my business elsewhere.

I had made an appointment for an oil change. Justin greeted me when I arrived, he was prompt and informative on new and different services offered. Even after adding a few different services they had me out in under an hour. Justin also did some additional leg work to get me answers on services I had already performed to make sure my truck was up to date and not missing anything.

Hayden was both courteous and professional from the moment I arrived at the dealership to the time I left. He listened to my needs and what I could do instead of forcing what he/dealership could do like many other dealerships do. He even followed up with me a couple days later to make sure everything was going good, if I needed any help with any of the many options that came with the truck, and/or if he could help with anything else or questions. I’ll definitely be visiting this dealership again in a few years when it’s time to replace our other vehicle.

What’s the point of sending out promotional coupons through email or mail. You guys never take them anyways. Yes I know it says to present it at time of appointment but even then you guys say no. The guy at drop off literally said “no we can’t take the coupon because the paperwork isn’t put together yet.” Can’t present it at checkout because the papers are already drawn up. It’s only $15 but it’s the principle of it. Take care of your customers.

We always prefer Chevrolet when it comes to purchasing new vehicles. Gene Johnson was very informative and helpful on our decision to purchase a larger SUV for our family, the 2020 Chevy Traverse LT.

Customer service was pleasant, however was told service should take 5-6 hours ended up taking 9 hours. That’s over promising and under delivering, should be the other way around.

It was really good in the beginning. But when I was in the finance department I was told I didn’t have gap insurance. I told the gentleman that the salesman showed me that I had it. Come to find out when the salesman lowering monthly cost that he removed gap. Insurance and did not tell me. When I went back a couple days later to give them the second set of keys for my trade in I had to ask about when my payment would be due and what app to use to pay. I was not provided this information. Just a little disappointed

Went in for a super small possible start to an issue with my transmission. Was told I needed to buy a brand new one at the cost of $9700 and American Chevrolet can provide financing. Have taken it to two other shops who have both told me there is nothing wrong with the transmission and it just needs a service.

DJ the sale guy was good to me and is a great guy he did help me a lot but the sale manager and finance manager lied that they could not take off any add ons , when I told them I did not want any of that and they said that this theft system apparently comes with the vehicle that could not be taken off but when I got the window sticker after I bought the truck it was a marked up & itdid not come factory so therefore lied and didn’t show me the window sticker beforehand.

Everything was purely simple. Clear cut, no fuss, no sugar coating. Fluid communication - pen to paper. Done. Great job Hayden and team!

I was satisfied with service provided until I tried to use my wind shield wipers and found I had no fluid available from my receptacle. Had specifically requested verbally for all fluids to be checked and filled as needed. Service person Justin Ordonez very nice to work with. Helpful with all.

Asked specifically to have tire air pressure checked, was reading on the vehicle dic at 31/32. After vehicle was serviced and on my way home it was still registering at 31/32, had to fill myself at my residence.

I brought my car in clean, When I got it back a week later it was very dirty and one of my door panels was left on the passenger seat

The engine light came on-on the dash so I took it to the dealership to have my Chevrolet Tahoe serviced. They had to replace both anti knock sensors. I was disappointed ($1,665) because I had to replace my engine less than 2 years ago and I had to replace many other things under the hood including radiator, belts, hoses, etc but evidently the knock sensors were not replaced. The service writer, Paul, treated me well and I got a ride home and back again to the dealership. Much appreciated.

Customer service was excellent, and service was fast. Did not get an excellent because the technician forgot to reset the new position of the tires after the rotation. One particular tire I was watching, because it has been losing air very slowly, appeared to has stayed in the same position. I returned to the dealer 10 days later to inquire, the technician understood right away the cause, and quickly reconfigured the new tire positions in the car's computer.

Brought my 2 yr. old Traverse in because the brake sensor read 18% the brakes were also squealing. The vehicle only has 16,400 miles. While it was there was a service bulletin to check for leaky radiator hose. The hose was in fact leaking and had to be replaced. Both third seat headrests were also malfunctioning and needed to be replaced. The brake bulletin stated to replace the front pads but was not covered under warranty. At 16,000 miles that is undue wear. None of the parts needed were in stock and had to be ordered. After 1 week and 2 days I finally have my vehicle back. The only positive thing is the fact that the service agent, Paul Villalobos, kept me informed.

We had a really positive experience buying our car, Juan was really kind and fair and we felt very supported through the process. I am so glad that we decided to go with American Chevrolet.

I had a 7:30 AM appointment for an oil change and check service 4 x 4 light on dash. There is two Service advisors at check-in. I finally seen one of them by 7:50. At 2 PM I called the service advisor because I had not had an update on my vehicle. I was told a technician had not seen my vehicle as of yet, and he would know something in the next hour. two hours later, I was informed they could not find an issue with these Service 4 x 4, after resetting the code and test driving. But unfortunately, my vehicle had not had the oil change as of yet. I was able to pick up my truck at 9 AM the following day. Not sure why I even made an appointment.

I was a walk inn but everything was good.

We had an appointment at 10:00 am, but due to shortage in employees our scheduled oil change and tire rotation wouldn’t be done until noon. We got there at noon and my car hadn’t been started. It was finally ready around 1:00.

The dealership worked with me to buy my truck and sell me a new one.

They broke my mirror in the car wash. Also when I washed the truck I found water spots all over the glass and paint. Something I failed to see the night I picked it up.

On 6/13/26 signed papers on a vehicle we wanted. Was told to come back on 6/15/26 to pick up as the vehicle needed to be detailed. Told them we would be in about 12pm. Had to wait 4 hrs as vehicle wasn't ready. Finally got the vehicle and gave finance person a check for a large amount for a downpayment. He said thank you and was going to leave and I asked don't we get any paperwork & receipt He said oh you want one. I said yes. If I didn't speak up we would have recd no copy of contract and receipt. Salesperson was very kind and helped alot. Love the vehicle but there is poor management.

When I first went in , it cost me $384 to fix a problem . When I got my vehicle back, nothing had been fixed! I had to go back inside and get my service writer and show him. Then the right part was ordered and 3 plus weeks later with another 3 plus hours waiting it was fixed!

Not happy that my free oil change was expired without an email notification so when I went to take it in, I couldn’t use it and the employees couldn’t make it right on the computer.

Our Salesman DJ helped us make our deal over the phone and everything was ready to go as soon as we arrived. I'd give 10 stars if I could!

I have had to bring the car in for the same reason numerous times. Every conversation I have with the service advisor I have to remind him of things during our time working together. Also does not return voicemails and I don’t think he checks them, cause I never hear from him. He also wants to charge me for the same thing and I have to remind him they aren’t fixing it completely. I’ve now paid twice for the same thing, it would have been more if I didn’t say something. Sadly after these experiences I’m moving on from Chevy (this is my 2nd). I need a dealership that is easy to work with.

I feel like family when I go to American Chevrolet. They are welcoming, kind, and knowledgeable. I’m a newer customer but it feels like I’ve been going there for years.
